The Alderley Edge Orchestra is one of the friendliest in the North West. Established in 1922 (read about the history of the orchestra here), we give four concerts each year at Alderley Edge Methodist Church or Alderley Edge Festival Hall which are attrafting capacity audiences.

In June 2015, we launched a new joint venture with the Alderley Edge Festival: a highly successful Gala Concert when four past winners of ther respective sections played pieces of their choice with the orchestra. In December 2016, we held our first-ever Christmas Concert at the Festival Hall in association with Alderley Edge School for girls. In December 2017 we joined forces with Alderley Edge Methodist Church to participate in their Christmas Tree Festival to raise funds for their nominated charity.

We also hold a full-day Workshop each year to explore and perform larger scale compositions.
